Where It Began
From cooling pets to cooling people
Cool Care Technologies was established as a sister company to The Green Pet Shop, an eco-friendly online pet retailer. After years of selling our popular Cool Pet Pad, something unexpected happened — pet owners started asking for the same product for themselves.
Men and women dealing with hot flashes, night sweats, post-surgery recovery, and heat exhaustion saw what the cooling technology did for their pets and wanted it too. We listened.
That feedback drove us to scale our patented, pressure-activated gel technology for human use — and the Cool Flash Pad was born. No electricity. No water. No refrigeration. Just instant, lasting cooling relief, available the moment you need it.

The Team
The People Behind the Pads
Cool Care Technologies was built on a simple idea: staying cool can make a meaningful difference in how you feel, perform and get through your day.
Founders Larry Wright and Brian Frazier Wright first understood that need through sports. With backgrounds in martial arts, judo, lacrosse and coaching, they experienced firsthand how heat can impact performance, recovery and overall well-being. After developing cooling technology through their sister company, The Green Pet Shop, they saw an opportunity to bring that same cooling relief to people.
Today, Cool Care is powered by a team that is predominantly women, and our products have become part of our own everyday lives. We use them for hot flashes and menopause, for pregnancy and sleep, while traveling, at our desks, and anytime we need quick relief from feeling overheated.
For Krista, a member of the Cool Care team and Brian’s wife, the cooling pads became an unexpected pregnancy essential.
